"Boats In Argenteuil" (after Monet)
In the early 1900s, Argenteuil was a very popular small town, where Parisians went for the weekend or vacations.  In this painting the sailboats are quietly waiting for someone to take a ride.  By painting this subject, the artist was touched by the serenity of the lush forest in front of which we see a farm.
